Quế hồi là sản phẩm được sử dụng rộng rãi tại Đài Loan trong các vị thuốc bắc hoặc làm gia vị nấu ăn hàng ngày. Trên cơ sở đề xuất của doanh nghiệp xuất khẩu, Thương vụ Văn phòng Kinh tế Văn hóa Việt Nam tại Đài Bắc xin giới thiệu một số thông tin về thị trường quế hồi tại Đài Loan như sau

1. Về phân loại hàng hóa:

Theo bảng phân loại hàng hóa của Đài Loan, sản phẩm quế hồi được phân loại thành 03 mã hàng (CCCCode) gồm:

2. Về thuế quan nhập khẩu:

Theo biểu thuế Hải quan cập nhật của Đài Loan, các sản phẩm quế hồi hiện đang có mức thuế MFN  0% dành cho các đối tác thành viên WTO như Việt Nam.

3. Về quy định:

Sản phẩm quế hồi khi nhập khẩu chịu các mã quản lý sau

+ Mã 513: (1) Importation of Chinese medicine materials shall comply with the regulation of "502". (2) Importation of commodity not to be used as Chinese medicine shall be exempted from complying with the regulation of "502", but a clear indication that the commodity is "not to be used as Chinese medicine" is required.

+ Mã 502: For importing dry goods:(1) A photocopy of business license for dealing with Chinese medicine ( or pharmaceutical manufacturing license issued by the Ministry of Health and Welfare ) is required.(2) Importing powder goods should be attached a photocopy of the drug license issued by the MOHW, or an approval document issued by the MOHW.(3) Commodity description shall indicate the specific name in Chinese and Chinese medicine materials or Chinese medicine powder.The above regulations do not apply to importing non-dry goods.

+ Mã F02: Importation of products used for food-relevant purposes including foods, food utensils, food containers or packaging, food cleansers, or the products containing preceding articles shall follow the " Regulations for Inspection of imported Food and Food-relevant products " promulgated by MOHW. The importer shall apply for inspection to the Food and Drug Administration (FDA). (Note:Please contact FDA for relevant inspection requirements of food imports.)

+ Mã H02: Some of the commodities under this item subject to legal inspection of imported Chinese herbs announced by the MOHW. The importer shall apply for inspection to the FDA.

4. Về quy mô thị trường

Theo thống kê của Cơ quan quản lý Ngoại thương Đài Loan (BOFT), Đài Loan hiện nhập khẩu gần 4 triệu USD các sản phẩm quế hồi chưa nghiền và hơn 1 triệu USD sản phẩm quế hồi đã nghiền. Trong đó, Việt Nam hiện đang là đối tác cung ứng quế hồi lớn nhất cho đảo này. Kế đến là Trung Quốc, Ấn Độ, Srilanka vv... Chi tiết theo từng mã hàng như sau:
